The 2024 working calendar includes a total of 12 public holidays, of which nine will be celebrated jointly throughout Spain, as published in the Official State Gazette (BOE). To the national and regional holidays must be added two local holidays that each municipality has, for a total of 14 holidays per year.

As explained in the BOE, in 2024 there will be nine holidays that coincide in the working calendar throughout Spain:

– January 1. New Year’s Day (Monday).
– January 6th. Epiphany of the Lord (Saturday).
– March 29th. Good Friday (Friday).
– May 1. Labor Day (Wednesday).
– August 15. Assumption of the Virgin (Thursday).
– October 12th. Spanish National Holiday (Saturday).
– November 1st. All Saints Day (Friday).
– December 6th. Spanish Constitution Day (Friday).
– December 25th. Nativity of the Lord (Wednesday).
